Anxiety, stress, self doubt, pressure, low esteem, fear of the unknown, exhaustion, unmotivated, feeling drained, depression, overwhelmed etc
These sound familiar to you, don't they?
You're constantly drifting in a pool of thoughts, that's left you disguised. You're not the same enthusiastic person your boss recruited a year ago, you're no longer the MVP that was scouted last year to make the national team. You've totally lost yourself.
You wake up every morning feeling like it's a routine rather than a new beautiful morning. Everything tastes basic, your clothes, shoes, your favorite meal too starts tasting like any other random dish.
You won't do your hair or nails, or buy a new bag if you need it.
You won't even push 10 extra minutes at a commitment, you just want time to pass and then go home and hide in your bed without a shower, you don't even want to brush your teeth before bed.
You want to eat though, eat all the time, keep your jaw busy, binge watch series on netflix than reading a book.
You're not really living, you're just getting by.

On days like these, while it's understandable to frown, or cry, or coil in your bed and eat junk and mess your hair, it's not okay to keep at it, to use it as an excuse as to why you're underperforming or lagging behind.
You have a reason why you started. This time, write it down, and pin it where you get to see it daily, so that you are hunted each time you find yourself dragging your feet. Well, if it doesn't haunt you out of your comfort, you need a deeper purpose, one that will keep you on your toes until you're there.
“Get out of your head” sounds aggressive but maybe that's the awakening you need. Life is not to be taken for granted.
Each New day is a chance for you to start over, on a fresh page, to do the things you intend to in order to live a more purposeful life. Your ambitions, dreams, goals are clearly waiting for you to come and grab them, so yes your feelings of overwhelm etc are valid and understandable. Take a moment to acknowledge them and fix them. (Here’s how you can go about it)
But while you’re at it, don't take too long because no one is coming to save you.
